About bhoosh
Born in Queens to parents from Mumbai, bhoosh grew up between cultures, sounds, and ways of seeing the world.
Before stepping behind the decks, he spent years working as a filmmaker, director, and visual storyteller. That background still shapes how he approaches music. His sets are built with pacing, contrast, tension, and release, allowing each night to develop with its own beginning, middle, and end.
Self-taught as a DJ and producer, bhoosh moves through house music without being confined to one narrow style. Deep house, progressive sounds, afro house, tech house, disco, classics, global rhythms, original productions, and unexpected edits may all find their way into the same set.
What connects them is the journey.
Based in Orange County, bhoosh has performed at clubs, galleries, outdoor gatherings, cultural events, brand activations, and unconventional spaces throughout Southern California and beyond, including DJ performances in Tulum.

In the Room
Every room has its own rhythm before the first record even plays. BHOOSH pays attention to the space, the time of night, and the people gathering inside it, allowing each set to develop in response to what is actually happening on the dance floor.
Rather than following a fixed playlist, he builds slowly, moving between deep grooves, global rhythms, familiar records, and unexpected turns. Some moments call for patience. Others need an immediate shift in energy. The transitions become part of the story, creating a set that feels specific to that night and difficult to repeat anywhere else.
For BHOOSH, the goal is not simply to play music at a room, but to become part of the exchange happening within it.
Where the Music Has Traveled
BHOOSH has played across a wide range of settings, from clubs, galleries, and intimate gatherings to destination events and open-air spaces.
His appearances include opening for Mezerg at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, performing in Tulum, and playing events in Santa Monica, Dallas, Philadelphia, Joshua Tree, Las Vegas, Laguna Beach, and across Orange County. He has also brought his sound to cultural spaces, brand activations, private events, and community-driven dance floors where the setting helps shape the direction of the music.
Each room asks for something different. The approach stays the same: listen closely, build with intention, and let the night become its own experience.
Beyond the booth, BHOOSH also produces events through Body Language, House Rules, and oiio, shaping lineups, venues, visuals, and the overall flow of the night. That hands-on role deepens his understanding of how music, space, and people come together in real time.
